Is time for thinking about my speaking class with Audrey Short. I really enjoyed that class because I felt that my speaking skill was improving everyday. In my opinion the two most helpful activities were speaking with the students of World Studies and with Native American Speaker outside. I liked speak with American people because in the real life I need communicate my ideas to others and development my vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, listening and others language skills. Also, I think that the “fish bowl” is a good activity because was a dialogue in circle, face to face with my classmates. In contrast, the activity that I think was less helpful was speaking in pairs in class with my classmates because some times I felt that my partner didn’t want to talk. In addition, I liked the topics in speaking class because I was learning to share my ideas about controversial topics.
About if I want to continue working with Tumblr and Twitter, I will work only with Tumblr. Today I have enough web pages to work, every day I spend a lot of time with my computer and internet. I think that Tumblr can replace Twitter because both are web pages for connecting people and create communities. I like more the tools of Tumblr, specialist the video and audio. I agree that in the future is important to share the web sides that are interesting for different people.
Finally, I will practice my speaking with some Native Americans Partners. The best way for practicing my English is listening and speaking with Americans. Other idea is practicing my speaking in my future part-time work because I’m looking for a job. Finally, I want to improve my pronunciation and I will work hard in that part of my speaking because sometimes I feel like my words sound terrible.
I want to say thank you, and I hope you will be my next speaking teacher.
