Questions:

1. Do you agree or disagree with the idea that Monroe can keep his degree?

2. In your opinion, what should be the policy about degree revocations?

3. Do you think that this is an ethic problem? Why?

4. What should be the VCU decision in this case?

Vocabulary:

1.Interdisciplinary: combining or involving two or more academic disciplines or fields of study.

2. Granted: To accord as a favor, prerogative, or privilege.

3. Revocation: the act (by someone having the authority) of annulling something previously done.

I’m glad to see that you looked this up.  I’m sure it happens in several places but it is important to know about what is going on in your current home.

How do you think this news makes VCU look to the outside world?

In my opinion, this news makes look the VCU like a university where it is more important power than academic achievements. Unfortunately, it is happening in many universities, and this situation can damage the university image.
